I’m a graph­ic de­sign­er and web de­vel­op­er (+5 years of ex­pe­ri­ence) work­ing be­tween the dig­i­tal and the ma­te­r­i­al to present sto­ries that bring peo­ple to­geth­er. I be­lieve great ideas come from un­der­stand­ing, em­brac­ing, and ex­pand­ing their con­text. Busi­ness goals and thought­ful re­search in­form the bet­ter part of my cre­ative process.

Con­text is the key to no­ta­bil­i­ty, whether ground­ed in facts or per­son­al sto­ries. Every cre­ation lives with­in a broad­er cul­tur­al land­scape shaped by di­verse back­grounds, op­pos­ing ideas and count­less forms of hu­man ex­pres­sion. My de­sign draws in­spi­ra­tion from cul­ture, psy­chol­o­gy and the ver­nac­u­lar.

Raised by im­mi­grant par­ents in tiny but warm Cos­ta Rica, I have learned to find a sense of fam­i­ly in the com­mu­ni­ties around me. That out­look con­tin­ues to shape how I ap­proach my work and my world. Every­day ex­pe­ri­ences (dis­cov­er­ing mu­sic, at­tend­ing pub­lic events, walk­ing through cities, con­nect­ing with peo­ple) fuel my cre­ative in­tu­ition.

I en­cour­age col­lab­o­ra­tors to bring their own in­flu­ences into the process, cre­at­ing work that re­flects mul­ti­ple per­spec­tives.
